Bonny is officially in the third trimester of her pregnancy which means less than three weeks to go! Bon is doing well - she's very big as you can see from the photos! We're still taking her out for some fairly straightforward marks to keep her engaged and on birds but she has definitely slowed down and tires more easily. Can't blame her - I'd be tired too having to carry all those babies around. We've also stopped all water marks due to her flying leap - no compressions on the belly! Her centre of gravity is definitely changing so she's had to adjust hpw she does down the stairs or gets up onto our bed. Poor girl! She definitely is enjoying her increased meal portions though! She's at 17ozs plus grains a meal and is going up to at least 20 ounces in the next little while, Wow! This week, we'll draw blood for a vaccine titre nomograph which will allow us to calculate the exact time that the pups' immunity from Bon runs out and the ideal time for them to receive their first vaccinations.
